Privacy Policy

KB Cycle is a small training app run by its developer, Nando Breiter. This page explains what personal data the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. For any privacy question or request, contact Nando on WhatsApp at +41 76 707 66 34 during European business hours.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address, and a hashed version of your password if you register with one. Your actual password is never stored.
  • Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, name and email address. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google data.
  • Training data: the plans, exercises, weights and sessions you enter.
  • Contact messages: your name, email address and message if you use the contact form.
  • Technical data: when the app hits an error, details of the request are sent to the developer so it can be fixed.

How we use it

Your data is used only to run the app: to sign you in, store and show your training plans, send account emails such as confirmation and password reset messages, answer your messages and fix problems. We do not sell your data, show advertising or use analytics.

Cookies

KB Cycle uses one cookie to keep you signed in. It lasts up to 30 days. The app sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

Services we rely on

  • Our web hosting provider, which stores the app and its database.
  • Cloudflare, which all traffic to the site passes through.
  • Resend, which delivers emails from the app.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Tailwind CSS and unpkg, which deliver code the pages need. Your browser connects to them directly, so they can see your IP address.
  • Ko-fi, which provides the donation button. Your browser connects to it directly on pages that show the button.

Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept while you have an account. Accounts whose email address was never confirmed may be removed after 7 days. If you ask us to delete your account, your details and training data are removed from the app.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and you can object to how it is used. Send a WhatsApp message to the number above and we will respond as soon as we can. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date.
